Shane Pinto is, and always has been, untouchable.

While we're on the topic, can we trade for Caufield and Guhle?

That's what it sounds like from our perspective.

At the time this was considered an overpay by many Sens fans, but yeah, definitely not a guy I would want to trade away in your shoes

I can't remember any time Sens fans wanted to trade Pinto. Joseph yes, but not Pinto.

Why wouldn't they want Pinto? He's an awesome young player.

Dach can play on the wing, it's not as if Montreal is some center depth juggernaut.

They’re not but I think they’re content with their centre corps unless they can get like an elite 1C

If you have an opportunity to get a guy like Pinto you don't say "ah well I like our current center depth" you make a move for him right away and figure the rest out later.

It's technically an overpay... but a lot of quantity which is not what the Sens need to do. Not sure it is also what the Habs need to do.

There's 7 forwards and 3 D-men I am NOT looking to trade on the Sens, both Pinto and Joseph are on that list.
