Buffalo can keep Joki and Calgary keeps both their players. Flames don't want your RFA reject.

Dumb comment. Sabres need to trade him because he played too well, his contract is going to be too pricey for them

If the Sens were trading Brady that'd be a package they'd consider. Personally I'd want JJP over Quinn tho.

Honestly I think Calgary would do that.

I'll give the OP credit for keeping everyone's value in check.

Rather keep Kulich and use something else, and Arizona hangs up the phone IMO.

Not doing this without Peterka

Doubt the Sens would do this anyway. But if Dorion was still there, I could totally see things implode. Staios is obviously taking a patient approach. We'll see how much the new people understand the game, but seriously, compared to the last regime... he should easily be a VAST upgrade... my dog had more roster construction acumen than Dorion.

Dorion had the hockey IQ of the average hockey fan, he was seriously building his team by name recognition. That's how he ended up giving up giving a 2nd round for Derek Stepan, or thinking trading Mike Hoffman for Mikkel Boedker wasn't a massive downgrade. He probably took Kubalik from Detroit instead of a 2nd round pick, etc etc.

Can't speak for you but that's not how a lot of Ottawa fans saw Dorian, they were hyping him tf up after trading for Debrincat, signing Giroux

Signing Giroux was great but the guy wanted to come home, it's heavily related to luck and circumstances

The price paid for DeBrincat was not outrageous but he was not what the Sens needed and it became awful because he didn't want to be there long term and only wanted to go to Detroit

I tried to give Dorion the benefit of the doubt at the beginning thinking he was Melnyk's puppet but then I saw his 2020 offseason, this was literally the worst GM performance I have ever witnessed. We can go into details but this is 18 y/o+ stuff (horror)

But agreed some were totally fooled by this used car salesman... denial can be strong in some people

Ottawa could easily get much, much more than that for Tkachuk.
