Crosby has a full 100% NMC so like the Taresenko or Giroux trades the return will be limited as such
Im not even sure Crosby would waive to leave PIT unless they sold Malkin or Letang first at the least i'd suspect

I know Crosby and his Dad love MTL and im sure if PIT will take LD and Picks as payment we can work something out easily
But if i was a betting man i'd put Crosby in EDM in a deal for RNH a prospect and picks
RNH with Malkin, Letang and Karlsson could still do something now that the Dynamics changed with Malkin #1 and RNH #2
Crosby can always re-sign after next years over if PIT pulls off being competitive
Or he could stay in EDM making History pushing them to form their own Dynasty with Crosby,McDavid and Dristl leading (3 Hart Trophy Winners)

Crosby almost certainly won't be traded but IF he were to be there's a lot of Pens fans who are going to be disappointed with the return.

There aren't many contenders who would be able to accommodate both. I mean it's unlikely it happens anyway but if Crosby/Letang stipulated that then it's a definite no from the Avs PoV and probably any other genuine contender. Only possibility might be a bubble team that felt that SC & KL could push them into genuine contention but then those aren't likely on the players in question's lists.
