Carolina matches and as I told Habs fans at the TDL TB has no interest in the oak tree that is David Savard ahhh 2 offer sheets in the same off season by the same team? Clown post. That I guarantee you would make Hughes a complete and utter pariah. No one would give him a remotely fair deal after that.

With so many young players not signed to long term deals (Guhle, Xhekaj, Slafkovsky, Dach, Newhook, Hutson, Reinbacher) do you really want to antagonize the Canes and start a war?

Since most of their team is locked up, we are definitely operating at a disadvantage if we do.

A grab bag of middle/bottom 6/4 pieces doesn't begin to pay for Zegras, as we've told Habs fans on here for months, if you want Zegras, it's Slafkovsky, Reinbacher +, or 6OA +

Nashville just pulled out a couple more useful players than armia for free in McCarron, Smith, Sherwood, etc. Why would anyone pay a 2nd for him? He is a dime a dozen player and there will be players available in UFA for free not to mention internal candidates.
