This is a weird way to troll leaf fans. Why on earth does a guy making not much over league min cost a 1st to move? Burying him in the minors costs them 300k in dead cap. That doesn't cost a 1st in any universe

Right 😉. Why are the Leafs paying to dump Reaves? Tre is the same GM that just signed him and he’s fulfilling the role Tre clearly wanted him to. Plus they can simply waive him to the minors at a $200K cap hit if needed. Wasting a 1st on this move would be off the scale NFG
