Dubas Take Notes

Created by: Jebulinator58
Team: 2024-25 Pittsburgh Penguins
Initial Creation Date: Mar. 16, 2024
Published: Mar. 16, 2024
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
tried to go all 4D with this:
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________
The Smith Trade:
Anahiem being one of the youngest team in the NHL could use veteran player to pave the way

The Jokiharju Trade:
might seem a bit harsh at first but Acciari is a solid 4th center and Puljujärvi will get better if he can get some ice-time minutes and opportunities.

The Graves Trade:
honestly just a "cap-dump" that Arizona might take advantage of.
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________
But The Most important change that needs to be addressed is the Coaching Staff (especially the PP), i really don't see Dubas firing Sullivan but perhaps (like everything with the Pens) they'll retool around the coaching staff. e.g Promoting Sullivan to more of a "big-picture" guy, and give someone else the reins (ideally someone like Tortorella who'll keep everyone accountable and isn't afraid to make "tough" choices and take chances). and FIRE TODD REIRDEN!

Why do you believe that Anaheim "could use" a 33-year-old lame duck with a $5 million cap hit? Never mind the redundant LhD.

Why do you believe that Puljujarvi "will get better" when he's had 7 full seasons to do so?

By the way, Urho's Qualifying Offer is $945,000.

AZ definitely not paying a 3rd for Graves
Buff doesn’t have a need for Accari or Pulijarvi

That’s funny, Urho is better than both POJ & Smith

Such an easy pass for Anaheim

Montour at 4.6? So he takes less than what he currently makes to join a team on the verge of a rebuild?
