Buffalo has absolutely no reason to want Jake Middleton, and you wouldn’t get either of those players in return for him. At least try offering a player Buffalo might actually use. Not that I would necessarily make the trade, but Ryan Hartman for Jokiharju would at least make a lot more sense for us.

While I would very much like a jake middleton on our d, the Sabres already have 5 left shot d, and seem to be content with icing all puck movers. Again, if it was me, I might try to move pieces around, but there is not a chance our gm is moving assets to give us another left shot d, and as far as I can tell, our gm doesn't value middletons skill set.
