Value seems fair but TVR is a really solid Dman that can play both sides up and down the lineup. He was playing top pairing w Carlson when MF was out

Especially at only 2.5 for 4 years

i think leafs should push hard to get 2 RHD this summer, ei (Montour especially for puck moving D and Pesce or Tanev whoever will come in cheaper). Agreed they should keep lilly but if by any chance they move him i hope ottawa is in the bidding war to get him

Which is how I don't see the Leafs landing him... They have so many players to fill, unless Grenbenkin, Robertson, Minten and potentially Cowan fill the spots... How do you figure the Leafs end up with Montour and do you think he signs for more than Teows?

I just made an ACGM for leafs and had him signed 7x7 and pesce 6x7, which pesce would pair up nicely with Reilly and have mccabe or another UFA LHD pair with monty. I added a lot of the younger talent in the forward spots for next season to allow them a season to get a taste of NHL hockey until JT's contract is up while also filling in the lineup.
