Description

Leafs added some size to their blueline at the deadline which they needed. But they also needed more puck moving ability. Which they did not add. And they are still missing at least 1 right shot D.

I can only see Matt Roy leaving LA for one of two conditions, first going home to Detroit or getting paid more money. 6m sounds like a good price but Canadian taxes are so high that Roy could sign for 5m in LA and make more money because of the taxes.

Sure the Leafs can 11.5m on two Dmen if they want. But it's centre that is weak. To depend on Minten to start the season seems like a fantasy.
Another 2.5m at centre would still leave room for two Dmen at a total of 9m
