Description
At this point, I think it's safe to say that San Jose is well on their way to finishing dead last in the standings and I also think lightning won't strike twice and the Hawks will not land #1 overall. I do see them landing #2, in which they take RW- Ivan Demidov with that pick.

You might be right but at this point speculating about who ends up where in the draft lottery is silly. Who knows.

The separation of 0.316%(CHI) and 0.291%(SJS) is not that big that is like 2 wins difference. Ultimately it doesnt really matter though because the last place team still only has around a 25% chance of getting the 1st OA pick.

Its not that big of separation for normal teams, but I dont even know if San Jose wins 2 more games this season at this point! But you are right. Gotta rely on the lottery balls either way

Isles dont do this. No incentive. Raddysh is nice but he's not hitting 20 again and Holmstrom is one of our few young players in the NHL, best off just letting hin stay in the bottom six than acquire a reclamatin project and a defenseman we don't need
