70 Point Season on the Horizon
The last time we gifted you a goalie, it worked out pretty well for you. Maybe lightning strikes twice.

If they can't be had for a 3rd or 4th, oh well, they're not difference makers anyways and would have to fight hard for 4th line time.</div></div>
You need start paying more attention to the NHL outside of your bubble in Winnipeg.

Good luck finding room in the top-6 or even the top-9 for Chibrikov once Lambert, Barlow, Lucius, and McGroarty are getting regular minutes along with Connor, Scheifele, Ehlers, Perfetti, Valardi, Niederreiter, and Iafallo.

Trade Deadline
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ginandtacos</b></div><div>I could see Dickinson being in demand if he plays as well as he did last year.
Foligno and Perry there's just no way to guess right now. If they put a bunch of garbage points (PP time, shifts with Bedard line etc) they could be worth a mid-decent asset like a 3rd with retention, best case scenario. It's also possible that they're overpaid 4th liners CHI won't be able to give away. At their age it's 50-50.</div></div>
I think I met you in the middle with those proposals then. lol Foligno is more likely to have the better year and be more attractive come TDL but Perry's playoff experience would be pretty important for anyone. It's anyone's guess but I think regardless, those two are locks to get moved.

Right, because the first 3 weren't enough....nothing like getting a guy with health issues to sign for $925,000 to play the 4th line. He's going to retire or sign with his hometown team in Winnipeg.

I'd love Honzek or But at the end of the 1st round. I think the ideal move is Bedard, Brindley at 20, and trading for anywhere from #22-30 for Honzek or But.

Bonafide RW-1 compared to the current roster. You gotta think Davidson doesn't stand pat with all those 2nd rounders. He either moves up back to the 1st or packages some of them to help Bedard from the jump.

Gives Bedard a bonafide RW-1 that is due a change of scenery and could be a vital piece once the window is open to contend. He's the only big move the Hawks make this off-season.

Yeah I took a look at your post and thought it made alot of sense. Unless we trade Murphy, Mitchell seems to be the odd man out. Hasn't shown too much progression, maybe a change of scenery helps.

You guys seemed thin on bottom-pairing dmen heading into next year, figured he'd fit there with someone young like Alexeyev or whoever. You can do alot worse for $2.2mil with the little cap you guys have heading into this off-season.

I don't see a reason why they can't trade him to a contender now and re-sign him back in the off-season. Kane might be another candidate for that, especially if the Hawks get Bedard. (I don't personally want to see Kane back again but you never know.)

It's laughable that you think a team with little playoff experience on the roster couldn't use Toews and Johnson for their playoff run. If you're fine with letting Hughes and his 31% Faceoff Percentage take a late game draw in the playoffs, that's on you. Toews as 3C/4C to play crunch time minutes, kill penalties, and win you a big draw is invaluable. Johnson is a 7th dman who can play in a pinch if Okhotiuk and Bahl struggle the first few playoff games.

Well I broke it up to basically this…
Kane for Amirov, Engvall, 1st Round Pick, 4th Round Pick
Murphy and 3rd Round Pick for Liljegren
I’m not too familiar with Leaf prospects but figured Amirov could be in a trade package involving Kane.

Ducks aren't that far away from contending. They'll have just under $40mil in cap space and most of their young stars already signed.
