Hawks absolutely do not need a LD. They have Vlasic and Korchinski in top 2 spots and then Del Maestro, Allan, Phillips, Crevier, and Kaiser who can all fill in the bottom spot.

Only way this happens is if you give the Hawks a draft pick and then we buy him out. Alternatively, you should just buy him out if you don't want him. It'll cost you $333,333 against the cap for 2 seasons.

Welcome to CapFriendly! cheers Sometimes, it's not too friendly.

You're trying to accomplish three things here, which all Los Angeles fans would love to see: (1) re-sign Matt Roy, (2) acquire Juuse Saros (or Linus Ullmark), and (3) re-sign Viktor Arvidsson in the hope that he'll improve Pierre-Luc DuBois' performance next season. I think that as a practical matter, only two of those objectives are attainable.

Unlikely Saros goes anywhere anytime soon with how the Preds have been playing. The package doesn't do much. Spence is nice, but we have Molendyk as an eventual Josi replacement puck mover kinda player.

Kaliyev is enticing but I'm wondering if he's more a project than a bonafied piece we can add to the core.
