Bunch of Frauds

Created by: Jets33
Team: 2023-24 Winnipeg Jets
Initial Creation Date: Mar. 23, 2024
Published: Mar. 23, 2024
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Get Pionk out of this lineup, he’s been absolutely awful. Stop playing Perfetti like a bottom six grinder. Either play him in the top six or don’t play him at all. This team ain’t winning anything. They’ll be lucky to get to game 5 against the Avs or Dallas

Just bc the Avs waxed the BJs & the Jets are mid rn is no cause for concern. Georgiev is a huge question mark, whereas CH is a backbone player. Jets are contenders fr

3.91 - 3.45 expected goals in favor of the Jets. Hellebucyk had a bad game, that simple. Yall are still a great team who played well against the Islanders in their best game of the season, I wouldn't worry too much

There's more then enough evidence that the Jets may very well be frauds, they've had plenty of bad, no show games this season, maybe they'll get it together in the playoffs though.

The Islanders completely controlled the game, if anything that shows how meaninglessness that stat is.

I think you missed the point
CH is a puck moving goalie who had some bad reads that cause him to not perform as he usually would.
It happens , happened to Price too same with MAF & Quick

The Goalies like that are like 3rd Defensman who actively contribute and are relied upon a lot to point its noticable the system has to change to accommodate non puck moving back up
They have an off night the D scramble and teams take advantage

Really though if you flip Lowry and Perfetti on the Current lines Daily Faceoff has post for the last 10 games at least
Then i think you'll find success. Remember Toffoli helped Rookie Suzuki and Caufield who was ineligible to be a Rookie as he played so few games , into a SCF run with them as MTL's top 3 scorers.

I think Niederreiter-Perfetti-Toffoli could get more done while Barron-Lowry-Iafolo seem like seem like a threatening bottom 6 line.
Have Perfetti's line run a 2A/2B situation for the Middle 6 with Connor-Monahan-Namestenkov(who are producing well together)
Ehlers-Schiefele-Mapleton lead as they have been on top with 9 goals combined in the last 10 games with 24 points combined
Barron-Lowry-Iafolo lead from the bottom taking Defensive shutdown role and bulk DZ faceoffs with Monahan's line

Cant underestimate the impact Toffoli has on the youth

Oh man you haven't watched Hellebuyck much eh, he's HORRIBLE at handling the puck.

Also Perfetti hasnt played center since game 3, 4 or 5, he didn't last long down the middle, he's too small and slow to be a center at this point.

Not neccessarily. The Jets had full control of the game in that 3rd period. 3rd period shots were 18-3 in favor of the Jets. But yes, the 1st and 2nd the Islanders had control.

We just need to break up the Dillon-Pionk pair. Call up Heinola and put him with Pionk, scratch Nate and put Dilly with Samberg.

During the 2021-22 season, all five of Heinola's assists came while playing with Pionk.

Typically teams that are way up in the score and control of a game go into a defensive shell and the team trailing puts on a push so yeah I'd say it shows a flaw in those stats.

While Vilardi is out they need to put Nino with 55 and 81 and get Iafallo off the 1st PP too.
