Everyone knows he’s regressing so if anyone is going to be a taker it’s someone not in a contender position. Either a mid team trying to make playoffs but would either need to have loads of space cap or get retention. Or it’s going to be a team like CHI/SJ/OTT/etc. then you have a NMC to deal with….. NYR won’t want Fast back. He was great when he was here but he’s a bottom 6 guy which we have many of them as it is who are cheaper

Staal only makes 2.9. I think you're referring to his old deal if you're thinking about retention. There will be teams that want him because he has uses, but Kotkaniemi does everything Staal does better and 12 years younger so there's no need for Jordan anymore

not to mention Drury is gone and Suzuki who's a bust is on 4th line, OP definitely wants his idol KK to play on 2nd/3rd line even though he deserves 4th line minutes at maximum
