So it's totally fine that he allows 3 a game? Because you just won't answer that question eh? Just an endless leash eh? 3 goals a game is a normal and good thing.
Again again again if this team aint scoring more than 2 then your expecting in every game he only allows 1 or shuts out the other team every game. No goalie can consistently do that and in these playoffs we have only seen 1 goal allowed one game by a few
Basically whoever is in net has to be almost perfect or they lose
Neither of their guys is that nor should be having to that with the fire power we have
TOR is built to win games 5-2 or 6-3 not 2-1
He allowed 3 yes but 0/5 on the PP and a PP% combined of 9% is the bigger concern here. What would be the difference with Woll nothing if this team struggles to score lul.
Imagine if 2 or 3 of those PP's result in goals 4-3 or 5-3 Leafs win and were up 2-1 lul despite the 3 allowed
Again goaltending is the last problem here. Even if Sammy kept BOS at 2 goals TOR would have probs struggled to get that third one anyway as look at these last 10 playoff games https://twitter.com/bruce_arthur/status/1783312972917420107?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Etweet
Ice cold special teams and inability to score more than 2 goals is the bigger problem
Why are we paying 4 forwards a combined almost 50m if the end result is in playoffs if were lucky we may see 3 goals lul
I get the argument and if special teams werent ice cold and we were scoring more than 2 a playoff game consistently would agree he's the main issue but they aint. Focus rn is getting these special teams going and scoring more than 2 lul
And with that convo is done.
