I wouldn't accept this offer as is. I'd want to remove the retention and Lundestrom and specify that it be the earlier of the two seconds New Jersey owns unless the Jake Allen condition eventuates.

I'm still of the opinion that it's valuable to keep Gibson for at least another season.

How wild is it to imagine a team with a goaltender who isn't the reason you are loosing, because that's what Gibson is, he steals games, he doesn't piss away wins.
