Why on earth would Raymond sign for $5 million? Even on a bridge deal he could easily get $7 million.

doubt the coyotes take that. husso is okay and all (or at least he was in st. louis), but vejmelka likes AZ, and that prospect doesn't look interesting
and if anything, the coyotes need to look for center/d prospects

dont see AZ swapping G - getting the older, more costly and worse numbers one for a couple of mid picks (when have a million already)

Can’t see San Jose adding yet another mid LD, not for Sturm

Johansson is interesting. He’s older for a prospect, but he is a good AHL D man with talent.

My guess is if they are offering only a 2025 second, I’d want Wallinder or Mazur at a minimum

But he seems to be projected as bottom pairing, if he makes it at all. He also lacks size, which the Bruins FO seem to be convinced is the most important factor in giving out contracts on the backend.

The market will ultimately decide what the return is, but as far as filling Bruins needs goes, this is basically just a 2nd rounder to downgrade from Ullmark to Vejmelka and an increase in ~2.25m in cap space. It also makes a division rival better. I think they can find a better value contract to backup Swayman that gives them more cap space to improve the team now and still get a 2nd elsewhere. If Detroit was willing to retain Vejmelka down to about 1.5m (giving the B's an additional ~1.25m to work with), I'd listen.

Undersized, 6/7 ceiling, meh. Veleno would have a difficult time to crack the top 9. The 2nd is probably the most valuable piece because there is still hope that you could hit on it. The other pieces, not so much.

I struggle when we minimize a talented kid because he’s a bit older. I like how Johansson has played at the AHL level and think he has NHL talent. He’s in the same vane as Alec Regula to me. Probably deserved a chance and has developmental potential as a backup who could wind up playing a long time with the right chance.

Not nearly enough as a key piece in a deal. If you supplemented a number 1 with him, I’d be OK. We need a much better prospect if it is a number 2. Wallinder is the gettable prospect from Detroit I like the most. He’s behind other d men, but he has good tools to work with in the limited Grand Rapids games I’ve watched,

Flyers decline. If they can't extend Konecny, they can get better return anyways. Berggren and -25 first are the only interesting pieces. Lombardi and -26 4th holds close to no value and Fabbri & Holl are considered as a cap dump, which should cost you more, not be part of payment.

Not his age, it’s his size and talent. He’s bottom of the D, spare part level type. He’s fine as the 3rd piece, but the not enough with him to move the needle.

Agree. Just had an issue with nothing of interest commentary when tied to him. I’d consider DiPietro for him. Not Ullmark and likely not even Bussi.

Well it holds true. There is nothing there that i’d be interested in trading Ullmark for. It’s missing the primary piece. Everything there is just supplemental
