Basically sets back MIN 3 years back. They wait multiple years in hope that the player selected becomes better than Rossi while they have him at 900k with 14M in dead cap

Why would Minnesota, a team also looking to get younger, trade away their best young Center (not including JEE, he's 27, still good) for a mid 1st round pick? A young NHL Player with great potential plus other assets for magic beans? Pass for Minnesota 100% of the time
