Laval will probably get Engstrom once he’s done in the SHL playoffs. Struble is almost for sure getting sent down once MTL signs Hutson, and hopefully Roy is all healed up to be sent to down for the playoffs. Only Roy and Struble were papered by MTL to be eligible for the AHL playoffs.

There could be a slim chance Kapanen comes over after he’s done with Liiga, but imo Habs wait until next year with him.

-Engstrom is on a good run in the SHL but even if he win he'll be joining Laval unless Sweden adds him to the World Cup Team

-Hutson and Tuch will join likely before the 30th of March because their Goalie isnt a guy who can steal wins vs RIT who's got one of the NCAA best Goalies they got to defeat tommorrow.

-Kappanen has 4 goals 9 points and his team is up 3-1 looking to advance to the Semi finals. 2024 has been his year and 80% of his offense came in the last 3 months so he'll likely be making the jump

-Beck is unlikely as he is on a run with a good OHL team but his teams offense runs through its defense as such their Goalie have taken a pounding every game and wont make a Memorial Cup Run like that so who knows.

-Mesar is in a similar situation as Beck and i'd mark unlike but they could be out in the 1st round just as easy for the same reason. Their offense runs through their D and it leaves big holes as its 1 guy mostly

-F.Xhekaj technically but i think he's going on that long Memorial Cup run with Brantford as they're built Playoff Strong with Size, Skill and Grit but most Important Goal Scoring in Bulk by Committee

Quinn Hutson the brother of Lane and Luke Tuch's long time Wing Partner could walk into a role as they cycle pucks down low as good as Armia/Lehkonen and get them back to Lane usually. Quinn has said it would be ideal to take the next step with his brother in the same system again and there's lots of motivation as our RW depth outside the NHL isnt so great.

I think outside that we got mostly players returning to their leagues next season.
Kappanen could be a Big Factor too as he's a Defensive Faceoff Center like Lars Eller or Phil Danault but has seemingly found his scoring touch as he added a bit of size and worked on his playmaking which has resulted in lots of rebounds going his way. He's the Prototype for Houle's perfect player if you asked the Laval Rocket Coach.

Engstroms another Big Add as he's a Mobile D who skates and checks with an overall style that's so Arturri Lehkonen. He never stops skating or trying to get the Puck
He's been rewarded with a big roll this year after a great Rookie season and as a result his teams actually a favorite to win the League Title right now
Diehard guy who trains so much his Coach had to lock him out of the Gym when he was showing up at 5am and going home at 8pm they insisted he get a hobby lol
Kid seems OCD and Driven with this infectiously Positive Attitude and most Important he's a Left handed Right D as he's on a team with only one Righty which is why as a 20 year old he got the call up was his ability to adapt quicker then the rest did and turn it into a strength. Top 20 in Scoring among D in the SHL his Sophomore year to while playing his Right side.

The rest could help but those last 2 in Engstrom and Kappanen just make what Laval has better and fit Coach Houle's system so they should transition fast.
Engstrom especially will get the most out of Dcore i think as he's a team guy and will play forward if you ask him and easily is a better 7th D then Norlinder

Tuch maybe (doubt it), but Hutson is highly unlikely to play in Laval by the end of this season.
Only way is he signs a PTO once he’s done in the NCAA, and waits to sign his ELC in the offseason (exactly what Struble did last year)
Most likely scenario is he signs his ELC right after the NCAA, thus making him ineligible for the AHL playoffs, and plays a few games with the Habs and burning the first year of his contract (what Farrell did last year)
