End of next year would mean 2025 pick. And Savard will still not be worth it

Not really sure what to think of Holloway. He seems to be squandering his chances a bit like Ylonen. I'd rather make room for players like Farrell, Beck, Kapanen, Tuch, F. Xhekaj to steal a spot.

Kapanen is having an offensive breakout moment in Liiga. He's really on fire with 9 points in 6 playoff games.

Agree, Next move Habs need a real top 6 not a gamble

F.Xhekaj and Owen Beck will be on our future bottom 6

Lavoie literally cleared waivers this year, of the Habs thought he had any value they would have taken him for free, not give up talent for him.

The rest is good, I still think they trade Matheson over Savard though

I like Jordan Harris as a third line left D, but I think there should be players with his profile in free agency available at the 2 to 2.5M range. You pay a million dollar premium
and keep your pick.

I’d probably be open to a prospect swap. Brunet or Merkulov. Maybe a later round pick, but I think I’d rather sign a vet.

You know you can add ANY TEAM under the Savard trade, right?

Fair enough - However I dont think we have a lot of PWF in our system. Holloway could be a good asset in a 3/4th for a couple of years.

Yeah - Trade in my mind is Barron vs Holloway & HP vs Lavoie.

I dont think HP has a lot of value and I think lavoie would fit better in the lineup

I love the fact that he played his college hockey with Caufield, but I dunno, I really expected Ylonen to light it up this year and he failed so badly. Holloway is in a similar boat in EDM. He was given shifts in the top 6 and it did not translate to production. He may be a flop, just like Ylonen.

Uh... so did Harvey-Pinard. I'd rather have Lavoie.

He never went through waivers and hasn't played in the AHL since last year.
