Would like to see Merk on 3rd line rest of year. See what he could do with regular shifts.

If Qunny goes out this weekend Collin Graf would be nice too.

Rough 15 game stretch with just 1 point for JVR, but his 15 games prior he had put up 12 points. This has been his worst stretch this year and its seem like a matter of time before it starts to put up points again.

Graf or Quillan? I feel like Poitras and Graf might be fighting for a similar spot/role. This organization already has a hard time getting Merk and Lysell into the lineup.

I have not seen anything from him that shows that he is "due". Seems just like the season has taken a toll on the 34 year old vet.

I don't think he's been terrible though. He's just in one of those stretches players go through sometimes.

Lysell and Graf would be fighting for the same position. Merk and Poitras would be the same. The Bruins had a slot open for Lysell, but I think they wanted to give him a full year before putting him in. Not sure why they waited on Merkulov

At this point, I don’t see another young player getting a shot.

My guess would be that they shift Brazeau to the third line and insert Maroon on the fourth line when he’s ready if they are concerned about JVR

I could see Merk getting a couple games until Maroon is ready. But yeah, I don't think he sticks, which is unfortunate because he's deserved to be given a shot over Lauko this year I think.

Jimmy Murphy is saying he’s hearing the Bruins are out on Graf (he apparently said no) and are the favorite for Quillan. Hes usually a click bait guy, but I recall him hitting on a few college free agents in the past

Yeah I usually don't trust what that guy says, but Quillan makes sense. I think he projects as a Charlie Coyle type, high-end 3C.

Get to watch him today go against Wisconsin. Probably will watch that one after the BC game.

Curious to see what Graf and Quillan do. We’ve had some success with Merkulov and Farinacci at Providence. Mouganel will definitely use Quillan and his skill set. Not sure I’d label his upside as high as Coyle, but I get what you are saying in terms of style of play.

I actually would be totally fine with this. Graf has the higher ceiling, but he's kinda a top 6 guy or nothing IMO. Too soft to make it in the bottom 6 if his skill doesn't translate. Quillan has a much more pro ready frame and is a good 2-way player.

Hes basically a mirror of Farinacci with a left handed shot instead of a right handed one. Both have the versatility to be 3rd or 4th line centers with maybe the upside to develop into a 2nd liner long term. I’d love the acquisition

Quillan has the clutch gene. He won face of after face off and he scored 2 in that final game including what should have been the game winner if not for a bad turnover by Graf. I still see the fuss over Graf. Good puck control and a nice shot, but hope we do sign Quillan.

I thought Gasseau’s goal was pretty and Jelvik played better against Michigan Tech.

That final goal was heartbreaking for Qunnipiac. Pretty intrigued to see what Pecknold does with Pelosi next year. He’ll be a freshman, but I love his netfront game. They fought valiantly against arguably the most talented team I’ve seen.
