    Problem is, you could say Reinbacher Hutson and him are all untouchable. But you need to give to get

    Dealll. We’re just going to flip Brannstrom at the draft for a better return.

    How about Boucher for Kovy. I know he was a first rounder not long ago, but his development hasn’t been great.

    Dvorack was a Bergevin trade who wanted a '' supossed 2C '' for taking the spot for Danault and KK

    And Newhook is more a LW than a C, even that he can play as a C.

    The guy offered you Kovacevic for Kelly and you propose him Brannstrom? Why would you do that to yourself?

    Heartbeat. I don't think Boucher is worth more than a 4th right now, can't stay healthy to develop.

    To me the Boucher offer is like this:

    Would you rather give up a lottery ticket or pay $7 for the product?

    Boucher is the lottery ticket and Kelly or the pick is the $7.

    Guhle is already proven. Dvorsky still has a LOT to show. We are the ones taking a risk here. And Bolduc is struggling like Barron. So

    Guhle > Dvorsky
    Barron = Bolduc

    I see no reason for the Blues to trade Bolduc for Barron.

    I'm not sure about the analogy... Boucher isn't much of a gamble anymore, he's looking like a pure bust.

    I wouldn't give him up though, he doesn't cost us anything and there's a real chance he'll be an impactful player 5 years from now.

    You never know but I'd be very surprised if he even makes it to the NHL.

    He can't develop if he can't play... Look at the number of games he has played the last 4 seasons

    He turns 22 y/o next season, he has a long way to go if he hopes to get back on the NHL track.

    I don't have any issues with this deal. It balances out our prospect pool a little and I think we have some time to find that someone like Dvorsky again. More time than we have to find someone like Guhle.
