I don't quite see this being a fit for SJ, but it could be interesting. They could grab an elite D at 6, and pick up top 6 or middle 6 potential forwards with the other picks

Switch Harris to Barron and I think the Sharks consider.

I agree. Cannot imagine the Sharks accept, but the Habs HAVE to jump on that. Demidov is even better than Zegras! (Sorry, couldn't help myself!)

Obviously the don't do this if they land 1, but if they land 2 or 3; they select an elite D at 6 (Parekh, Dickinson, Silayev) and add another two 1st's including the CGY pick which could be a lottery pick in a very deep draft next year. It could make sense for them in the long-run and would probably speed up their rebuild. Highly unlikely though for sure

He's been compared to Jack Hughes in terms of raw skill. Also more reliable in all three zones then Zegras, only risk with him is if he can score at higher levels. MHL is too easy for him,

He is being held out of the KHL because he said he's coming over to the NHL asap.

I mean not a high bar. Zegras isn't close to the asset ppl think when he's getting awful deployment and is a perimeter player with question marks. You get these kind of players for free ala Kuznetsov

Don't see why either team does this deal. Top 5 picks never get dealt and SJS will demand the world meanwhile the Habs absolutely need to draft upfront and this is a defence heavy draft after Celebrini that swings wildly from 2-7 overall. Habs just keep all their 1sts and draft their guy, regardless whether its Demidov, Eiserman, Lindstrom or Iginla.

I wouldnt take Parekh at six, and would rather go for some one with top pair upside which im not sure Dickinson has and silayev is like minimum 3 years wait

No offence but your team needs a lot more than that at this point. Team attendance will only get worse and not sure your owner will suffer through such a rebuild without actual nhl'rs in the immediate future.

Like yeah, but we do have one of the best pools in the NHL. So its not like our situation is different from most rebuilders
