bet on offence

Description
Future roster. We have have so many good two way guys and d prospects but we have to start swinging for offence. Anyone on LTIR eventually traded or let walk. Trades are really just a general framework but for the most part I think they make sense. Geekie probably doesn’t cost that much but doubt Arizona wants more picks. Zegras might take a higher end prospect over an additional pick but not sure I’d want to give both Winnipeg’s pick and a good prospect on top of our first. Absolutely think Matheson could fetch that based on previous years.

Beat me to it
IF anything with the Emergence of Geekie i'd be looking at Hayton or McBain as being more cost efficient options

For me Zegras is a sweet option but not at that cost IMO anyone top 10 this year >Zegras longterm. Tooo Many Good D top 10 among others.
I'd target Torpochenko as well from STL who's a great Armia Type that he can train before his contracts up

McBain and Torpochenko would give MTL Goal Scoring , Size and Tons of Hits needed for any playoff run
They'd cost less then the additions he's making and could have a bigger impact in our system
I mean Torpochenko-McBain-Anderson would be one fast paced Power Forward line who plays big momentum role
It would also have the bonus of helping drag Anderson out of his slump IMO

Wow trades are fun right .. but there is too much fun in yours and not enough logic. Matheson is not getting traded until Hutson is completely ready and that won't we next year. hopefully the one after that. We don't need players who make alot of nmoney and dont play a 200 foot game .. so bye to Zegras. We are not trading logan Mailloux unless it is in a big trade that nets us a star winger. So logan and another player and 2 first picks for a star like winger who plays defense is what hughes is going to do. Reinbacher and Hutson play in laval next year. Mailloux might make the canadiens next year. Barron will probably get traded. Savard will get traded at the deadline .
