***I think both players get more than they get in this little exercise***
- “both” refers to Lindholm and Hanifin. I just wanted to see if there was any way that this could work financially. Lindholms played himself out of the enormous contract he wanted around 8-9 million and Hanifin I feel like has a great market and will get more than this probably around 7-8 million.

Unlikely, those are some team friendly contracts for Lindholm and Hannifin. I also have to imagine there is a desire for a 22 man roster, need more cap space for a 13th forward with the team.

I think both are possible, but my guess is Hanifin would be in the 7.5 range and Lindholm in the 7.0 range. If you acquire both, I think you are replacing DeBrusk with a young player like Lysell

My guess is it’s about a 400k difference per year in taxes with Boston home games vs Tampa home games, so we’ll have to outbid them by that much at the very minimum. The other taxes and COLA for homes don’t really mean as much at that dollar level especially if he’s spending a lot of time in Boston.

If also means you have to do the deal for Ullmark at draft time.

the bruins aren't running a 19 man roster, so no. it isn't possible.
