I am willing to bank on that Pickering would help you out more than Chychrun in the long run. It’s not for sure that he would sign a deal with y’all, and although he is good, he is severely overrated imo. Pickering could develop, and be with Pittsburgh for years to come, as Chychrun would probably just be on for 1 year, or so. For more to add, Chychrun, Karlsson would be an atrocious pairing!

Leafs were and are perennial top 10 team so destroyed is hyperbole. One could say that Savard ruined the Habs - evidence being 32nd (dead last), 28th, 27th (current) place finishes past three years

He is only an overrated prospect in the sense that we simply have an empty cupboard. If he was a prospect on a team with a deep prospect pool I’m sure he would receive considerably less attention.

The thing is, he is actually really good though. I've seen him in the WHL and he was always good when I saw him. If i needed a LHD prospect, i would look at him.
