Cup Run 24-25

Created by: Robinho3799
Team: 2024-25 Los Angeles Kings
Initial Creation Date: Apr. 3, 2024
Published: Apr. 3, 2024
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Is the Byfiled evaluation realistic and also the salary for Duchene? I think its also worth the risk to sign Arvidsson again, despite numerous injuries. You can bring in ****emo any time or move Turcotte to the third line in case of another Arvidsson injury.

I mean with that retention the Leafs could just bury Reaves and have the same thing but keep the player. The only case they don't keep the player doesn't involve the retention. The way this probably gets done is a waiver claim rather than a trade.

I think that 33-year-old Matt Duchene is a bad idea and I don't see why we would want Ryan Reaves -- it's not as if we get pushed around by thuggier teams.

The Byfield contract is fine although personally I would bridge him for two seasons. I'd give more money to Arvidsson and Rittich.

I'd keep the three kids. We don't need middling draft picks which won't mature into players until 2027, if ever, and all three of those kids are at least NHL-level.
