Why? Dowd is an upgrade at 4C and you get rid of Kampf's contract. And while Caps get Liljegren's potential, TVR is the type of defensemen Treliving value.

leafs need to get a pick to balance the trade. we dont take this straight up, also plenty of team would take kampf for a 4th or a 5th.

Yeah, it's sad. Instead I'd put a stop gap veteran at 3RW until Leonard is ready. Or go for someone like DeBrusk.

2) Caps would DEFINITELY not add to that trade. Dowd is so much better than Kampf (and way cheaper) so that would be the difference

We don't have leaks in our front office, the only stuff that gets out is when an outside entity leaks (like an agent), or more often than not, things are outright fabricated by insiders about us (Anything Seravalli says about the Ducks is a guaranteed falsehood)



I don't see it, he's got 2RW ceiling, that's Terry's spot, the other teams have a 1RW that he would slot in behind. Not to mention the guy who eliminated him is on the team.
