1st : We will gonna need somes space for Slaf, Dach, Newhook, Guhle and more young players for their contract extension. So, before for being in a problematic cap situation, we can gonna a safe space on their cap for the next years.

2nd : Montreal can really target 1-2 free agents at the next offseason.

I talk about Dvorak. The Anderson trade is a good one but Philly probably refuses. You can simply re buy Dvorak it’s 1 million the first year and 2 the year after so keep the draft pick is better for the team

If Montreal add somes Draft picks, it's because they will likely gonna want to trade somes of them for theses type of situation or open more opportunities for the Draft, but I can understand your point.
