Interesting idea, but I’d put Jarnkrok with Willy & Mitch leaving JT between McMann & Knies (all heavy, good on the forecheck & cycle).
Robertson & Brodie don’t make my game 1 lineup. Reaves & Bush in their place.

Marner and Willie both excel at carrying the puck into the o-zone, both on the same line limits their opportunities. They should never be on the same line for a set game lineup.

How does Timmins make it as well?

Didn’t even spot that; thanks. Edmundson over Timmins, absolute no brainer

I'm fine with jarnkrok switch except I want 20 goal pace in 4th line minutes Robertson playing on an offensive line. I'm fine sitting Brodie if had a better option. I don't see one.

I believe you're overrating Marner zone entries. One of his biggest playoff issues is constant offensive giveaways trying to enter the zone.

Robertson has made great strides this year, happy for him & he’s a lock for top 9 next year. But playoffs are completely different & he’s not ready imo.
Reilly Bush
Benoit McCabe
Edmund Lili
Brodie
Gio
Timmins

I think we (Leafs fans) need to learn lessons from past playoff failures. NHL Refs are incompetent to begin with but in playoffs they actively don’t call blatant penalties so Edmundson & Bush will be much more effective. We struggle scoring in playoffs b/c opposing defenders just continually commit multiple uncalled penalties (cross checks, interfere, holding); we need to do the same.
Absolutely no chance both don’t start, and it’s 100% the right decision.

Okay sweetie. Way to show you have no point. I'm a Leafs fan who has missed only a handful of games in decades.

I agree they both will start. And it's 100% the wrong choice bc the refs have no problem calling penalties against toronto in playoffs.

If you're taking out Reaves, Edmundson, and Lyubushkin, then you don't watch the Leafs

Leafs aren't going to experiment with Nylander at centre starting with the playoffs.
Not sure who will be the 13th forward but my guess would Robertson. Gotta think Holmberg has to play
Who are the best six Dmen on any given night? No one knows.

Typical boomer old man insult. I watch the games and see how terrible they are. There's a reason they were available at the trade deadline. They were the worst d on bad teams. And reaves is terrible.
