Hard to believe that Jarnkrok who has never played centre for the Leafs, except for some emergency shifts, would be playing centre in the playoffs.

I think Jarnkrok has that defensive style that we can use. He's been on deep playoff runs before so he does have that experience (86 playoff games)

Holmberg and Nylander have been playing together on the PK for a while now, so I see the fit together. Jarnkrok is good defensively and at moving the puck up quickly into the offensive zone. He is good at scoring when he is playing on his off side. He has more playoffs experience than Knies witch will give him the upper hand.

Until he came to Toronto he was primarily a C including under Tre in Calgary. So I can see them trying this.

Personally I would have Nylander at C starting tonight and see if he can do it in the last few games of the regular season.

Keefe has a bad habit of throwing guys like Nylander/Kerfoot/Jarnkrok at C in the playoffs when they played the wing all year.

Or you keep Holmberg at 3C and put Jarnkrok on the 4th line in Dewar spot. Dewar has more physical play but Jarnkrok has more offense and PK is a wash.

Leafs fans and media are way too harsh on him. He’s the best goalie in the system

The ship on Nylander has sailed. Might as well forget about that idea - it didn’t work for a reason.

& Jarnkrok is and has been a winger for years. He can play centre in a pinch but just because a guy can doesn’t mean he should - Marner played centre in junior and shouldn’t in the NHL as a better example. Jarnkrok didn’t play centre in Calgary - their centres while he was there were Lindholm, Monahan, Backlund, Dube, and even Ruzicka played more centre the. Jarnkrok. Having him at 3C in the playoffs after coming off an injury is a disaster waiting to happen when he hasn’t played the position in years

If Woll is the best goalie in the system, you're not winning a cup
