Hawks would take Lindstrom 3. Levshunov just isn't as good as people make him out to be imo, and hawks have no need for another offensive D. If we want to take an offensive Rd then Parekh is much better anyways

Demidov should be on the board at #3 as Anaheim likely takes Leshevnov at #2. I also think the Hawks take Lindstrom over Leshevnov even if they fall to #3 and Demidov does go #2.

I would move him for a first round pick, but actual NHL GM’s wouldn’t be offering it on the same basis that Habs fans want him.

The hawks have Sam Rinzel at RD in the organization and that is about it. He is a boom or bust prospect and I think that getting a guy like Leshunov is more important for when Seth Jones declines

With that contract, Jones will be in Chicago for at least another 4 seasons. Even if he isn't a top pair guy, he's still playing. Still have two 1st's in '25 and another in '26 to address a high end RD if neccessary. Another high end forward seems like a more pressing need than a high end RD for the Hawks.

Doesn't matter imo. You don't draft for need in the top 5. If you see a guy you think is clearly better you have to take him

If you are comparing NHL ceilings I think Leshnov is higher. Could be way off base though.

If you're just drafting ceiling then Parekh's is higher than Levshunov. I do think both Lindstrom and Demidov have higher ceilings than Lev, with also higher floors.
