Why don't we give Kane a big 1 year deal, then put him on IR at some point to make space to add a high dollar player at/before the TDL?

No thanks. Mario is a leader on the Sharks and their only D who's better than a P3. It would take quality, not quantity to get him. Like a 1st round pick or another top 4 D man.

walman is nothing more than a 3rd pair dman as well. he plys #2 because wings have no one else. once Ed plys more he is wings #2 and walman should be dropped lower.
