If skjei came at that price I’d cry. Bruins need a strong shot from the defence.
Mcavoy has a good shot but doesn’t use it enough.

Joy haha.

Bruins need a shoot first dman, skjei/ Chychrun are guys I’d like Boston to target in the off-season.

Might have to give another year for this price. But ya, might be closer to $6M with less term.

ya, this ain't it.
Teuvo is inconsistent and just isn't worth that - stick with debrusk. cheaper, and the devil you know
poitras is not a winger
letting heinen walk would be bad business.

Poitras played some winger in the past from what I read:

https://nesn.com/2024/01/bruins-matthew-poitras-learning-on-job-during-position-change/

But certainly can learn from Coyle in the meantime or Geekie slides out to the wing. I think that was a line combo this year before his injury anyway.

Poitras playing wing learning from coyle isn’t a bad idea, he can take 40% draws, coyle taking all the defensive zone draws and some of the more important o draws.

Calling teuvo inconsistent and saying resign debrusk is hilarious, im done with debrusk buddy shows up for 2 weeks every 2 months.
He may be good 2 way but bruins don’t lack in the 2 way forward department what we lack in is guys who score or create opportunities for others to score.

Teuvo/ Tarasenko/ Toffoli/ Lindholm/ stamkos/ Marchessault I’d rather pay the 1-2 mill extra for.

Hell for what debrusk will sign for I’d rather go for Mantha/ Duclair/ Arvidsson

So much is going to be determined by how the playoffs go.

Its too early to come up with these 2024 scenarios, DeBrusk or Ullmark go on a heater leading to playoff success, it can change the plan

If Lindholm goes on a heater in the playoffs, does Vancouver try to resign him or does his price go up. What does Utah do? Do they increase prices by offering premiums?

As of right now

I am fine saying I wouldn’t take Duclair or Mantha over DeBrusk, but if they are close enough where if one is available for 1 you 1.5M cheaper: I’d probably go with the cheaper player as things stand right now, I also believe Swayman is the more likely goaltender to be kept.
