Jets probably need a forward prospect back and isles probably need a d prospect back, in hopes of replacing what is lost.

Jets don't really need another forward prospect tbh. Best D prospect we can give you is Heinola, but he shoots left.

I’m a jets fan, there’s quite a drop off and hole if ehlers moved, not a lot of speed to replace him. Monahan and Toffoli could be lost also, and Connor a year away from potentially walking, so definitely a need to add to competition in top 6. Not vital to make this move work, but a need none the less.

I mean yeah, Fetts is slow. Lambert, Barlow, and McGroarty are all either ready or 1-2 years away. The hope is that if KFC is gonna walk, the Jets get a good return for him.

I feel like this trade needs to be a Goldilocks scenario for both teams. I know the Jets would have to re-sign and not re-sign a very specific set of guys for it to work.
