I don't hate this at all. We need a vet center and RD. I also wouldn't over do it with the UFAs.

Only think i'm worried about is spots on D. I think Kaiser is ready too but can't fit him in here. I mean if i'm being honest the only reason KK is in this lineup and not Kaiser is because he was drafted top 10

I agree with you on KK. He's been put in that spot because his ceiling is higher...same thing imo... Kaiser is indeed ready too. I just don't want to see either of them as healthy scratches though. Keep them playing and either level.

Good job, Wadejos123! I might deploy some players a bit differently (e.g., I'd look to keep Richardson at 3-C), but as the team currently stands, this is a good look.

I might also seek to weaponize our cap space to help certain teams cope with cap constraints or other needs, in exchange for useful, short-term players and more high-end picks (say, players like Anders Lee from NYI, along with maybe Nate Schmidt and Alex Iafallo from WPG.)

I'd also look to add an elite, experienced winger to play with Bedard, as Hall's ability to stay healthy concerns me at this stage of his career... For example, I'd love for the Hawks to sign UFA Marchessault for big bucks on a two-year deal (even up to $9mm to $10mm AAV), for Bedard's RW.

Cheers

This seems like a very likely roster for next season. Not sure Domi would come back, but there are other free agent options at 2C. All in all, pretty solid effort by you.

Hi MTL fan here!

I can see that you're talking about Korchinski, what do you think of his rookie year ? Do you still see him as a 1st pair D-man + 1st PP or more of a 2nd pair + 1st or 2nd PP ? He was a real offensive D-man in the juniors but do you think he'll be able to produce at the NHL level ? Thanks have a good day!

I don’t think it is very probable that Davidson signs any D in free agency. I think between giving Crevier , Kasier (off side) & possibly Allan (off side like in Seattle) looks on 3 rd pair he would be “comfortable with what he has”. Unless of course he is ready to move on from Murphy. Also, I think there will be multiple teams interested in Chatfield which would drive up his cost/term . RD is in demand by more teams than just the Hawks.
I could see Domi wanting to return, he definitely had a better year playing for Richardson last season than he’s had playing in TO this year, he might want to try an inflate his value again by getting more opportunities in Chicago next year & trying to cash in the following year. I’m not sure he is the first target the Hawks have but more than likely he is on the list.

I've been thinking maybe we try them on the right and don't sign someone. Hopefully on of Vlasic, KK, Kaiser, EDM can play the right side

I think Kaiser's been trying to play a little on the right throughout the season. I tend to think he and Allan are the RD guys we should be developing...at least for now.
