I don't know why people would ever vote no on an ELC. Especially for a kid that averaged over a PPG in college.

This kid improved every season since his draft year, and wouldn't go anywhere near that low in a re-draft. Strong possibility he does well in the NHL as a complementary player, which the Lightning always seem so good at locating.

But this is a "bad signing"🙄 people are so amazing (not in a productive way) sometimes.

Indeed. Very good junior season at u of m this year. Not sure if he returns or heads to Syracuse. Small chance he's in the fight for a roster spot on the big club this year. Unlikely tho. We'll let him bake in the organization for a year or three. Either way he's a very exciting prospect for us

Most likely will start with Syracuse, unless you are a big prospect, they all usually start in the A

I know that. But that doesn't always apply. Especially with Tampa. Certain players walk on to certain teams because they fit a need. Do I think he will? No. He may impress in camp if he attends, but there's a handful of guys who are ahead of him on the up next list

Yeah, but I'm saying if Isaac Howard were to sign his ELC today as well, he's most likely getting a look in the NHL

Whereas look at all the NCAA players who just signed their ELCs, start off in the AHL
