ROUND 1TEAMORIGINALPLAYERDETAILS
1Logo of the Anaheim Ducks-Obvious pick. Going to be such a stud. Ducks can be a future dynasty if they draft Celebrini. What an amazing core they have there.
2Logo of the Arizona Coyotes-Utah's first pick as a draft team. Based off recent history with picks such as But and Simashev, Silayev is the obvious pick for them no matter where they're picking in the 2-7 range.
3Logo of the San Jose Sharks-Sharks badly need a franchise defining defensemen, as they don't have any top defence prospects. Levshunov perfectly meets those needs.
4Logo of the Chicago Blackhawks-I can't see them passing on Demidov if he's there. Bedard-Demidov will likely be a top five duo in the NHL during their primes.
5Logo of the Columbus Blue Jackets-Columbus goes BPA. Not much of a need for defence in their prospect pool at the moment.
6Logo of the Montreal Canadiens-Just a gut feeling here. Would not be that bad of a pick for 6th overall, but missing out on Parekh would be rough. Iginla is a highly skilled player that would fit well on Montreal, though.
7Logo of the Ottawa Senators-The best case scenario for the Sens if they don't win the lottery.
8Logo of the Seattle Kraken-Seattle definitely goes for a defensemen with this pick. They pick Yakemchuk over Dickinson because he is RHD.
9Logo of the Calgary Flames-Don't think Calgary can risk missing out on Dickinson at pick 9. Insane value for them there.
10Logo of the New Jersey Devils-Incredible talent. I really see him going top ten.
11Logo of the Buffalo Sabres-Zach Benson all over again.
12Logo of the Minnesota Wild-High risk high reward pick. He could be a really good player for 12th overall.
13Logo of the San Jose SharksLogo of the Pittsburgh PenguinsWent for a defence on the first pick, see them going for a winger on the second pick.
14Logo of the Philadelphia Flyers-This would be a really great pick for Philly. Buium is such a dynamic fun defender.
15Logo of the Detroit Red Wings-I think the Wings go for the BPA forward available here. In this scenario, MBN is that guy.
16Logo of the Washington Capitals-Caps are not afraid of drafting Russians. Can definitely see this pick, very on brand for the Capitals.
17Logo of the New York Islanders-
18Logo of the St. Louis Blues-
19Logo of the Vegas Golden Knights-
20Logo of the Chicago BlackhawksLogo of the Tampa Bay Lightning
21Logo of the Los Angeles Kings-
22Logo of the Nashville Predators-
23Logo of the Toronto Maple Leafs-
24Logo of the Anaheim DucksLogo of the Edmonton Oilers
25Logo of the Colorado Avalanche-
26Logo of the Montreal CanadiensLogo of the Winnipeg Jets
27Logo of the Calgary FlamesLogo of the Vancouver Canucks
28Logo of the Philadelphia FlyersLogo of the Florida Panthers
29Logo of the Ottawa SenatorsLogo of the Boston Bruins
30Logo of the Dallas Stars-
31Logo of the Carolina Hurricanes-
32Logo of the New York Rangers-

Sharks don't have any high end RHD prospects, but their LD are stacked. Shakir and Cagnoni are looking to be REALLY good, not to mention Thrun and Ferraro who are already there and are great middle pairing guys

Flames don’t pass on centres. If Catton is there we draft him.

none of those guys will be top pairing except maybe cagnoni, that's what I meant I don't think your guys defense pool is bad compared to other teams, it's just preferable to have a true 1d which you guys are lacking rn

To add to your Iginla explanation, the Canadiens are actually really high on Iginla and have spoken to him in person multiple times.

The Sharks and Blackhawks are high on Levshunov. Blackhawks also really love Dickinson, which makes zero sense for them.

Shakir does. And with two high end LD prospects and many other very solid middle/bottom pairing LD, RD is a massive preference. Which is why I agree with the pick, but not the write up. Most teams don't have one 1st pairing projected d-man

If I was NJ I'd take Eiserman over Connelly.

He is right Stove! Mukhamadulin is fantastic but right now projects more as a #2/3 guy, in fact if Buium is still there at 13 I would take him as well! That would set up a strong future top pair and make Mukhamadulin a terrific 2nd pair stud rather than a serviceable top pair guy.

Connelly is redonkulous. Very reminiscent of Jack Hughes play style.

If we were to double down on speed, position, transition…it would be great pick there. But from the sound of Fitzy…I’d bet we try for one of the power forwards (Greentree or MBN maybe) or a center (Catton or Boisvert).

But doesn't Connelly have off ice issues? If somehow Dickinson is available to us, he's the guy I'd like the most.
