Swayman-Skinner (1a, 1b)

This would arguably be the best goalie tandem, and definitely the best d-core in the league. Yes our offense suffers, but it is still a capable group, and would we not work so much harder if the focus wasn't always on Connor? Look at Vegas last year, star power didn't win them the cup, defense, goaltending and hard work did. We gain some cap, and have some more freedom that way too, which will help on some inevitable extensions coming up.

Short answer, no team is better without Connor.

Slightly longer answer, McAvoy and Swayman are certainly great assets, but in the absence of a really high end forward going back, its a huge no.
