Both trades see Buffalo adding a left-handed defenseman. Of all the positions on this team I’d say that’s the one where we don’t need anyone else. You might say they would only do one of these deals, but I don’t think there’s any good reason they should do either of them.

So I guess he is a forward who can play defense when called upon? Not many guys are built like that, but if he were any good at it, I might’ve heard of him. That’s a trade the scouts will try to sell Adams on I suppose.

He specializes in punching faces. Don’t think it matters if he is playing F/D.

Giving up Greenway for a goon seems counterproductive. He wouldn’t be worth that much; the Sabres should be able to acquire him for a mid round pick if they like him.
