Theres a chance Eiserman or Catton drop but Dickinson still likely goes first so it's possible

Wouldve looked a lot better if they couldve lost today couple with mtl and az wins but have to hold out hope still

Unless a team behind you wins a lottery, you guys are locked into seventh overall.

Odds are a team behind us wins at least 1 lottery

I dont think Mtl would double dip at RD after the Reinbacher pick last year but Arizona could use a RD

"Odds are"?!?!? It's happened five times out of the last 26 individual lotteries, 5 times in the last 13 draft years (once each in 2011, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020).

    Sens pick odds are
    1st: 6.5%
    2nd: 6.7%
    3rd: 0.2%
    7th: 44.4%
    8th: 36.5%
    9th: 5.6%

chances are more likely that the Sens don't pick 7th overall than that they do

I'm not gonna be dead set against a kid, but I'm really not a big yakemchuk guy. Sens drafting an RHD who isn't BPA would be a massive miss in my opinion, although obviously we never know what guys will develop into. but just conceptually it'd be a mistake. gimme Zeev Buium over Carter Yakemchuk every day of the week

I agree to me it’s Buium vs Parekh

Beating Bost mattered as instead of the 30-29th pick we get a mid 20s pick as they didn't win the division

No one was talking about the Sens picking specifically seventh. The discussion was over whether it was "odds on" that the Sens would pick later, and your recitation shows that the odds are 57.8% to 42.2% that they wouldn't. Thanks for the confirmation. Facts are good.

The truth. Yakem would be nice at like 15, but not at 7. There’s likely 5 players available at 7 I’d rather have.

Well, I hate to admit it, but I was just as wrong to use the phrase "locked in" as the OP was to use the phrase "Odds are." I see what you're both getting at, and you're right.

Corey Pronman’s latest rankings just dropped and he seems to be contracting what a lot of other outlets have. I know they like to paywall everything so I’ll put the top 15 here with his tiers.

    Elite NHL player

    1. Celebrini

Bubble elite nhl player and nhl all star

    2. Levshunov
    3. Yakemchuk

    NHL all star

    4. Buium
    5. Silayev
    6. Catton

Bubble NHL all star and top of the lineup player

    7. Parekh
    8. Demidov
    9. Dickinson
    10. Helenius

    Top of the lineup player

    11. Lindstrom
    12. Sennecke
    13. Jiricek
    14. Eiserman
    15. Iginla

If they don’t win two rounds yeah but the way the Sens draft luck seems to fall, I wouldn’t put it past Boston to go on a run out of no where
