I like your trade.

But Sheary is overpaid. 3M for him is more than fair, cause he played really bad in postseason.

Besides, Reese probably will and should start the season playing for Wilkes. Rowney deserves to be the 4th liner center in the beginning of the season. He played hard and well in the playoffs. He brings a lot of energy, physicality, grind and helps on PK too.

The main reason Edmonton wants to trade Nuge is to get rid of cap space. In this deal they are taking on salary. If Edmonton was not in a cap situation it would be a great trade for them, but idk if they would do it unless you retained some of Hornqvist's salary.

I'd give Dumoulin around $3. His numbers don't justify more.

Nugent-Hopkins has scored 50 points, and barely 20 goals a season in his career. Hornqvist has 50 points and over 20 for his career. I know people assume Nugent-Hopkins has a huge upside, but don't give away too much on the hope he'll reach it.

Edmonton has $17 under the cap. Assuming they give Leon $7, they'll have plenty of space for this. They need a Right winger and the Pens have tons. I like it.

BTW you have Sheary, Rust and Hunwick playing out of position. Shaery struggled last year when the team did it. Not a good idea to move players out of their natural positions.
