Makes no sense. Flyers are 3-4 years away from possibly being a contender. Marner would be halfway through a new deal by then IF he even comes with an extension and we have to give up a 1st and a kid we just drafted top 25 last year lol.

The last couple months proved Flyers are not ready to compete, so blowing a top prospect of ours and a 1st in an exchange of rentals would be terrible.
