Michkov Year 1

Created by: MatRussian
Team: 2025-26 Philadelphia Flyers
Initial Creation Date: Apr. 17, 2024
Published: Apr. 17, 2024
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Assuming TK gets $9MM and the cap is up to at least $92MM by that year. Young players (McDonald, Andrae, Bonk) should be NHL ready by that time.
Trades seem fair (IMO), but tried to keep the current roster together as much as I can. Same thing with signings, tried to offer between what the market may dictate & what their actual worth could be.
Very high on Sharangovich, not sure he could play the 1C (in terms of defensive responsibilities, but the Couturier & Forester line could be the shutdown matchup.)
Sharangovich has size, & speed and has shown flashes of brilliance even before breaking out in Calgary.

Do the Wild need center depth? Ek-Rossi-Khusnutdinov-Gaudreau. Not to mention Hartman can play center and Yurov if he signs.

JE-Ek is a bonafide #1. Rossi is a possible star #2. I dont think Khusnutdinov will stay at C long term. Also, it could be any team. I built this for 3 years down the line, was more to just get him off the team without falling back on the "Laughton to TML for a 1st" trope

Fair. Big strong Right-shot Dman who can skate, someone will probably acquire him. Also doesn't really pertain to the team I built, it was just to get him off the roster (with potential retainage)

I could get behind something like this, though our 1st round picks this year may make the team by then, but that is understandably impossible to predict atm.

he's still a third pairing guy and he's worth a 3rd at deadline prices fully retained max in fact probably less because fully retained still has him paid way way way too much for way too long.

ok but again it was literally to get him off the roster. I was building the roster. I didnt publish this to talk about a guy I took off the roster

agreed. Never know if we'll package those picks for a player or to move up. Exciting times
