It might seem counterintuitive, but I think you'd be happier with Thomas centering the shutdown line.

Where are people getting this notion that Suzuki was anywhere near elite defensively this year? I'm genuinely baffled. Is this another Dom thing?
Thomas plays just about the hardest competition in the league among forwards, and pretty much all his defensive stats are well above Suzuki's. He's probably going to finish top 5 in puck battles won again. He's better on draws, takeaways, transition play out of the D zone, and he's also on the #1 PK pairing. Defensively, there's no comparison.
