Dude ur not getting Laughton for a 2nd round pick in 3 years. You’re probably not getting him for a 2nd in any year.

I'm not sure why the B's would trade for him anyway as he doesn't really fill a need for them. The idea of moving Coyle to the wing to acquire Laughton with any picks at all doesn't make a lot of sense considering how ineffective Coyle has been at wing in the past and how desperately the Bruins need to restock their prospect pipeline.

Laughton is overvalued by management for his character and work ethic. Would this be real value wise? Yeah most likely. Will the Flyers take it, probably not.

You dont want PLD. LA is on Ullmark no trade list, he has like a 10-12 team no trade list and if he said no this year he will say no again

If it comes with an extension, he will be less of a lame duck than he will be in Boston. No one knows what he will choose or whether security will change his mind. People keep on saying they know.he will say no.

We know he said no to being away from his family for months without an extension. That’s pretty much it.

For the record, Boston needs the equivalent of a first rounder to take the salary increase (would likely be a prospect and a 2nd)

Ullmark doesn't want LA and the west coast,so this trade isn't happening.
The Kings shouldn't force a PLD trade either, as he has developed fairly good over the last few weeks.
I think they will do just fine with him in the next years, when he will continuously play with decent wingers.

A second is probably fair enough value for Laughton but it's not gonna be a 2026 second. Something they can use to hopefully make them better for the Michkov timeline.
