Gudas chose not to sign with Canadian teams like Toronto and instead chose Anaheim. Highly doubt he waives for any Canadian team

The LAST position we want or need is a left handed defenseman as we have said on here 10,000 times

Easy pass for the Ducks. Extremely easy

Ottawa trades a dollar and fifty cents for 1 quarter, 1 dime, and about 5 nickels.

As was already mentioned, Anaheim is not trading Gudas who has been so valuable in a leadership and mentoring role for our young defensemen, and they certainly are not trading him for an LHD, a position that is more than covered for the foreseeable future.

I have to agree with the comments on Chabot. Anaheim has Pavel Mintyukov and Olen Zellweger as left shot D (and Fowler but for how long?) If anything, they would (possibly) want a stay at home left shot to complement Gudas's presence.

Uhro Vaakainen, the pair of Vaaks/Gudas was among the top defensive pairings for shutting down other teams. XGA/60 of 2.07

On top of them, we still have Jackson LaCombe and Tyson Hinds
