Lindholm fumbled the bag this season, offer him a 1 year deal to prove his worth and trade to contender at deadline. If does not work sign a placeholder on 2nd line until our 2024 pick is ready to take that place.

Trade Kovacevic and Harris to make place. Keep Kovacevic if Guhle not comfortable enough to play right side.

Lindholm no. Montreal already has enough overpaid players. They don't need to get back into the Bergevin era with bad contracts.

I don't see it being prudent to give someone on a 1 year show me deal 9 mil. If someone else badly wants him at 8 or more for a year 9or longer) I say let them take the hit.

Same but Monahan will want multiple years on a contract. If he is looking for a big payday at 9mil for 1 years thats fine I just think he wants some security with a multi year deal in case of injury

everyone here says it a bad ifea to give him a 1 year 9 million contract but cant provide an argument why.
