Could run Juulsen and let Willander marinade more in Abby while signing another depth LHD or Karlsson as another extra forward (if not waiver exempt anymore).

3rd line all can move up if injuries in top 6. Lots of great talent.

Short term deals to maintain cap flexibility with Hog and Brockstar on deck for extensions.

Hawks might consider that. Klimovich probably checks enough boxes as a prospect for the Hawks to take on Mikheyev.

You're not getting a 23 year old top line player for a guy you're only moving because you can't or won't afford to resign. Sure as sh*t not getting another top prospect on top of that.

Since his return from the LTIR list the first time on December 23 (i.e., all the games he played without injury not counting the game on January 9 when he broke his ankle three shifts in), he scored 5 goals and 8 assists in 18 games (0.72 PPG), which is pretty darn close to his historical record of 0.77 PPG. He was also +3 over those 18 games.

I know he's good and very high ceiling. He's just not significantly better than Hronek like Landro is on about. Certainly could be, especially with the talent brewing in Anaheim..It's all good if it's not a sensible deal for Ducks. Trying it out.
