No from the Pens. They want to get younger. Have Acciari and Eller already

Ryan Pulock is a very good young RhD on a contract that is team-friendly both in amount and remaining term. Liljegren (who is only guaranteed to be under team control for two more seasons compared to 6 for Pulock)), a good prospect and a pick that cannot be earlier than #59 isn't close to his value.

Vegas can't afford Mitch Marner, And they're not trading Shea Theodore for a player they can't afford long term.

And bunch of scraps and late 1st round picks isn't getting Jacob Markstrom out of Calgary.

That joke of an offer isn't getting Ryan Pulock out of Long Island.

And on what planet does David Kampf return a 3rd round pick? shakes head

Young? Turning 30 this year is not young. He's really good although injury prone.

I was characterizing him in light of the Toronto roster, 6 of whose 9 defensemen (not counting the brand-new signing) are older.

I actually think the Flames would accept that from a value perspective but the issue would be if management actually decides to do business with Treliving again.

Yup, they need to get younger. So trading Liljegren seems really bad.

Hard pass on that one. Not paying that for 1 year of Marner that has only 14 goals in the playoffs that he’s now played 82 games in.

Pulock isn't young at this point.

I don't hate this deal, but I only do this if the Isles decide to retool and use Pulock's cap space elsewhere.
